And another week begins, not a lot has been going on here. Had a couple of Interviews last week, one being from Curves. things seemed to look quite promising in the Interview, the lady seemed pretty confident that I'd had the job. She needed to Interview 2 other people before she could say for sure, and she said she'd call me Monday (today) before 10am. Well I had a call, which didn't seem that promising she just said could I call her back next Monday as she was really busy.
I'm trading calls with another women from a day care center so maybe I'll get an Interview there. Or maybe I should just become an Easter Bunny, found this job in the paper.....
"EASTER PHOTO TEAM Helpers/Bunnies Needed Fun job. Good pay"
And yes I'm getting that desperate!

Ok I now have some time to post, glad everyone likes my new layout. Saint David's Day is a day where us Welsh celebrate our Patron Saint of Wales this is every year on March 1st. You can read the history of our Saint Davids Day here.
I've been really busy the last couple of days, I had a job Interview this morning which went quite well. I also went and applied for a couple of other positions including a sales person at Curves.
I've been busy re-decorating our Bathroom and Bedroom, last week I bought some Lilac paint to do our Bathroom. And I also bought some paint for the bedroom, I'd like to do the bedroom as an oriental Chinese theme, I'm really into the Feng Shui stuff. So the paint color I bought was Canberry Zing, I also had a nice Chinese border. So today Clayton and I have been painting the Bedroom.
Our weekend was good, we went out on a day trip Friday to Port Townsend. We had to take the Ferry over which was cool, although I got a little sea sick. We ended up staying the Saturday night, because we were enjoying so much. I found a cool Celtic Shop which had a few Welsh, British, Scottish, and Irish goodies. The shop even had a small selection of British Foods.
During our stay and our search for a hotel for a night, we came across an English B&B which is run by a British expat who has been in the USA for at least 20yrs. I really wanted to stay there for the night but it was fully booked, plus a little out of our price range for that night. So Clayton decided he'd book it for my Birthday in June, I can't wait.
On the way back Saturday afternoon, Clayton saw some Train Caboose's in a garden (My Darling Husband is a fan on Trains, and goes chasing them for a hobby) So guess what we did the rest of the afternoon, yes you guessed it chased trains. We finally found the garden with these trains, but funnily enough it was a Train Caboose B&B These Caboose's have been remodeled into rooms. So for Clayton's Birthday in May we are spending the night in a train.

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments, in my previous post. I really needed some moral support, and friendly words. I guess I just needed a rant, and blogging about it was a good way of doing that.
Things are looking up, Clayton and I had a lovely Valentines, Clayton bought me a dozen red roses, he also cooked a lovely candlelit meal for me last night. We rented 'The Notebook' which was a lovely romantic movie, and had me in tears at the end.
Clayton's been working with the Insurance company to get a Rent a car, and on Thursday we'll be having a car that's fitted with all the disability stuff Clayton needs to drive. We should get our car back by the end of next week, hopefully a little sooner. At least we don't have to pay for anything; it's nice that the Insurance Company will cover for all of that.
Clayton went to the Doctors the other day, and they told him he had neck strain, which is basically whiplash. If his neck get's any worse he has to go back and have x-rays done, hopefully it won't come to that.
I'm still actively looking for a job, I've put my resume in a couple of other places, so I just have to wait for some calls for interviews. And I'm calling the places I put my resume in every few days, just to check on my application. Something will come up sooner or later. I'm also doing some computer work for a friend, just to get some extra cash.
As for the diet and exercise, I have messed it up this week. I didn't eat all those chocolate bars, but I have been comfort eating a little. I also haven't done that much exercise, as I haven't had the car to get to Curves. I'm going to persevere though, I'm not giving up just yet.
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's, I know we did.. below is a picture of my roses from Clayton.
My lovely roses.

Our luck just isn't with us lately is it? I feel so fed up with everything, our car is a complete wreck because some elderly lady's foot slipped off the breaks on the gas, went straight into our car and then our car went straight into an SUV truck. Clayton's okay, we think he has some whiplash he's going to the doctors tomorrow for a check up, I wasn't in the car with him as he was coming back from work. Our car has the most damage, the front end is all smashed up, and the back lights are all smashed. The estimate guy said it was nearly a complete write off, he still needs to check a few mechanic parts, but he thinks the estimate will be about $2500, luckily we won't have to pay a thing, as the ladies insurance will cover it. It's gonna take about 2wks to repair, which really sucks!!!! As Clayton has to get to and from work, plus take me to Interviews and such, which I might have to cancel. We might have rides with Clayton's uncle and parents but they have work and such too. And what makes it even more worse is that we can't even rent a car, as Clayton has a disability and needs special things for a car, such as a knob for the steering wheel, and a left footed gas pedal. Now you'd think some car rental places would cater for something like that, but they don't. I really think that's discrimination, and plan on writing some letters to a few of these places. We tried some disability vans to, but they were only equipped for people in wheelchair's.
I haven't heard anything back from the places I had Interviews with, I guess that means that I didn't get the jobs. On top of that, I haven't lost any weight, I guess going to Curves 3 times a week, and me sweating like a pig and eating nothing but rabbit food, doesn't give my body a good enough reason to lose a pound or two. Sorry this post is really depressing, but I feel really depressed. I'm now gonna stuff myself with 4 bars of British chocolate that I bought yesterday.

Thanks for all the good luck wishes for the Interview yesterday. It went quite well, the 3 women were really nice, I had about 16 questions I had to answer such as.. "You've managed your work for the day, and then your supervisor brings you an urgent project what would you do?" I answered all the questions to the best of my ability, so even if I don't get the job it's still good practice. I've put in many other applications and resumes in different places, so hopefully something will turn up soon enough.
Our weekend away was great, the play Agatha Christie's The Mouse Trap was wonderful. I was amazed at the set, they really did make it look like an English Guest House, plus the people put on wonderful English Accents. At the end of the play, the actors and actresses were greeting us outside, I told them all they were amazing with their accents. The hotel we stayed in was great to, very comfortable. On Sunday morning we were thinking of going on the Ferry to Friday Hobour, but it was raining and blowing a gale, so we didn't. We did stop in a chocolate factory, which was so cute, the shop assistant was so nice. She asked me where I was from because of my accent, I said United Kingdom, and then she said South Wales right. And I was like yeah, she said her mother lived in South Wales and moved to the USA 20yrs ago and she still has her Welsh Accent. Funnily enough the mother's home town was half an hour away from mine. Small world huh ;)
Today is Shrove Tuesday Pancake day, I just made British Pancakes for Clayton and I. Clayton thought they were really nice, although he'd prefer syrup on his. He was just telling me that today in the USA is called "Fat Tuesday" where you pig out on what you want to give up for lent.
On a closing note, last Saturday Wales beat England at Rugby for the first time in about 12yrs, they were even on thier home turf at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. I was just reading this story of a Man who took a bet way too far, read it here

Thanks everyone for all the moral support, in the previous post. I really appreciate it. I feel a lot better now, I also have another Interview on Monday morning for a Secretary/Receptionist position, it's 18hrs a week. I know it's not full time, but it something to get me started, that is if I get the job. The job is at the Catholic Community Services. The lady just called me to arrange an Interview she also said I'd be Interviewed by a panel and have a series of questions, getting nervous now. Never had a panel Interview before, but I guess it's just like any other Interview.
Clayton booked a hotel for us on Saturday night, it'll be our early Valentines get away. Seeing the play and staying in a nice hotel, the hotel we'll be staying at is Anacortes Inn. We decided to put Canada on hold until we have more money in the bank.

Well I didn't get the YMCA job, I just called them now. And the lady who interviewed me said there was another woman who'd been around a lot longer, she said I would have been her second choice. She kept my resume and application and is also forwarding it to another local center. I did have an Interview with the Humane society on Friday, they called me Thursday night wondering if I'd come in for an Interview. They haven't called me yet with an answer ether. I've just been e mailing and faxing my resumes out to local office's for a couple of clerical positions, so maybe something will pull through there.
Been feeling really bored in the house lately, staying at home ain't much fun. I went to Curves yesterday just to get out of the house, I think I might go again today. It's going really well, and I feel so much better for it afterwards.
Last night Clayton and I had a movie night we rented Cellular and The Forgotten and they were both very good. Clayton really enjoyed Cellular and I thought it was also very good, I was on the edge of the sofa all night. Well that's my movie reviews done.
